Terms & Conditions – BattleAxe Events Ltd

1. General

BattleAxe Events Ltd (“the Company”) provides interactive entertainment and activities for weddings, corporate events, festivals, private functions, and other occasions. By booking our services, the Client agrees to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. Bookings & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit is required to secure any booking.

• Full payment must be received no later than 60 days prior to the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

• Late payments may result in cancellation of services without refund.

• ​

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for ensuring:

• 🏕️ Adequate Activity Space: Sufficient, safe, and level space is provided for all booked activities, as specified in the booking confirmation.

• 💡 Ample Lighting: Appropriate lighting is available for evening or indoor events to ensure safe operation of equipment and activities.

• 🛡️ Event Insurance: The Client must hold valid public liability and event insurance. BattleAxe Events Ltd accepts no liability for incidents arising from inadequate insurance coverage.

4. Adverse Weather

• Our activities are primarily outdoor-based and may be affected by adverse weather conditions (e.g., heavy rain, high winds, snow).

• The Company reserves the right to modify, delay, or cancel activities if weather conditions pose a safety risk.

• No refunds will be issued due to weather-related cancellations or modifications.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• All payments are non-refundable unless the Company cancels the booking due to unforeseen circumstances.

• If the Client cancels the event, no refund will be issued.

• Rescheduling may be considered at the Company’s discretion, subject to availability and additional costs.

6. Conduct & Safety

• BattleAxe Events Ltd reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual who is:

  • Clearly intoxicated or under the influence of drugs

  • Abusive, threatening, or behaving inappropriately toward staff or other participants

• This is to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests and staff. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

7. Media Usage

• 📸 The Company reserves the right to capture photographs and video footage during events for promotional and marketing purposes, including use on social media, websites, and printed materials.

• If the Client or guests do not wish to be included, it is their responsibility to notify the Company in writing prior to the event.

8. Liability

• The Company shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from the Client’s failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

• All participants engage in activities at their own risk.

9. Force Majeure

BattleAxe Events Ltd shall not be held liable for failure to perform its obligations due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
